Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 26, 2026
Los Tacos Nakos respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you use this website (tacosnakos.com) (the “Website”) or contact us about our catering services, how we use it, and your choices.
By using the Website, you accept the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Website.
1. Information we collect
We only collect the essential details needed to plan your catering experience:
- Contact and event details: your name and email address, the package type you are interested in, and any message you write. If you contact us through our form, WhatsApp, phone, or email, we also receive whatever you share, such as your phone number, event date, guest count, and notes.
- Technical logs: standard web hosting information (IP address, browser type, and device information), used to keep the Website secure and running smoothly.
- Quote calculator: the number of guests you enter is processed in your browser. It is not sent to us unless you choose to contact us.
2. Contact forms and messaging integration
When you submit the contact form, the Website opens a draft email in Gmail, Outlook, or your email app, pre-filled with the information you entered. When you click the WhatsApp button, it opens a conversation with us in WhatsApp. Nothing is sent until you press send in that service, and your message is then handled by that provider under its own privacy policy. We do not store credit card details or the contents of the form on the Website.
3. How we use your information
- To prepare custom quotes and reply to your inquiries.
- To plan, confirm, and deliver your catering service.
- To process reservations and payments and coordinate event setup.
- To operate, secure, and improve the Website.
- To comply with legal obligations and protect our rights.
4. How we share your information
We never sell your personal data. We may share it only:
- With essential service providers, such as payment processors, email services, and web hosting platforms, that we need to run our business and that may use it only to perform those services.
- When required by law, a court order, or a government request, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of our business, customers, or others.
- In connection with a merger, sale, or transfer of all or part of our business.
5. Third-party services and links
The Website relies on a few third-party services, which have their own privacy policies:
- Google Fonts: to display the Website’s typefaces, your browser requests font files from Google, which receives your IP address and basic browser information.
- WhatsApp, Gmail, and Outlook: when you click the WhatsApp button or use the contact form, you leave the Website and those services handle your data.
- Other links: we are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of other websites we link to.
6. Cookies and analytics
Currently, tacosnakos.com does not use advertising or tracking cookies. If we add performance analytics in the future, we will update this policy and, where required, ask for your consent. The Website does not respond to “Do Not Track” browser signals, since there is no common standard for them yet.
7. Your privacy rights and data retention
Under applicable laws, including California Civil Code Section 1798.83, you may contact us at any time to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal contact information. If you are a California resident, you may also request once a year information about the categories of personal information we disclosed to third parties for their direct marketing purposes in the previous calendar year.
We keep your information only as long as needed to respond to you, provide our services, and meet legal and accounting requirements. We may need to keep some information where the law requires it.
8. Security
We use reasonable measures to protect your information from loss, theft, and misuse. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Children’s privacy
The Website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new “last updated” date. Please review it periodically.
